Dear Viewers...

The following message was sent to me by my childhood friend and sister in Christ Jesus, Dr. Cynthia (Freeman) Morris, founder of Family Dominion Ministries, Killeen, TX. You can view her televised ministry at KPLETV.org check calendar on website for Wednesday at 10:30 am.

I pray that you receive this powerful message and be inspired to share with others.

The Message Reads as Follows:

Greetings Abele Family! Words matter to God! Proverbs 18:21 states "Life and death are in the power of the tongue. They that love it will eat the fruit thereof." Many of us constantly say things we do not mean, and then we wonder why our lives and relationships are shipwrecked. That small member in your mouth, your tongue is spewing out "salty and sinful" words.  Your words should minister grace to those you are speaking to.

We must be measured with the words we speak. Matthew 5:37 states "Let our yes be yes and our no be no."  You need to engage in thoughtful, scriptural speaking, instead of saying the first thing that comes into your mind. And certainly you should never speak when your emotions are running high. This will cause you to say the wrong thing, which you will ultimately regret. Calm down, read the Word, and seek the Holy Spirit for His guidance in the matter. He will put the right words in your mouth.

As important as talking is sometimes we talk too much. James 1:19 states "Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry." God gave us two ears and one mouth, which means we should be doing twice as much listening as we do speaking. If we take time to listen to God and others it would revolutionize our relationship with God, our spouses, children and other individuals in our lives.

Remember words are seeds when spoken produce either good or bad outcomes in our lives depending on what we are saying. Whatever words you sow with your mouth, you will reap in your life. That's why you need to monitor what you are saying to yourself and others.  Galatians 6:7 states "Be not deceived God is not mocked. Whatsoever a man sows he will reap." It is a Godly principal.

Stop telling your children they are bad. Stop telling yourself you are not smart. Stop telling God you can't do what He has called and equipped you to do. Stop!  Make a decision today to tame your tongue and to use it for the glory of God! Amen!

Love you.  Have a blessed week!
