Climate Change? OR, The preparation for the second coming of Jesus Christ...

Dear God: The Father, The Son (Lord Jesus Christ) and The Holy Spirit. More and more now, many are raising issues of concern with climate change, I am witnessing an increase of urgency.

I recall a time in the 1990’s I worked for a newspaper and we would sell blocks of ads 2x2’s in support of Earth Day. Reflecting back, I didn’t give much credence to the concern of “Climate Change” and even more so now do I place any means of concerns, on the premise, I know what time it is!

It is End Times Prophecy being fulfilled, The preparation for the return of our Lord of Lord and King of Kings, the Alpha and the Omega (JESUS CHRIST) to return to this earth, Thy Kingdom Come Thy Will Be Done On Earth As It Is In Heaven. HALLELUJAH!

The birth pangs are intensifying, just like you have stated to me, rapidly and frequently! Many are leaning on their own understanding, neglecting to take heed to Your warnings and precepts. Many will perish due to lack of knowledge, just as Your Word says, God.

I am witnessing an uprising in movements, nations against nations, acts of lawlessness and acts of discords, the people cannot see the forest for the trees: the acts of discords and etcetera. They continue to glorify Satan in their movements, neglecting and/ or refusing to invite You Heavenly Father, as it stands and is written You will prevail regardless, because You are THE GOD ALMIGHTY, ALL POWERFUL!

The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few! Many are seeking their own righteousness in lieu of Your Righteousness, Heavenly Father.

Government officials are using the topic of “Climate Change” and/ or “Going Green” as a means to win votes for their candidacy, ignorance truly is bliss.

Thank You Heavenly Father, that my eyes and ears are wide opened and that each day I am led by The Holy Spirit, Your Spirit. Thank You for Your wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Thank You that I am no longer conformed to the things of this earth and that I am being transformed into the likeness of Christ Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit. You are an Amazing Heavenly Father, The One True God of Love. Thank You for blessing me each day to live in Your Glory, in the Supernatural Governed by the Holy Spirit. HALLELUJAH! Amen! I LOVE YOU!

Why these things will happen

But the Bible goes further than informing us what will happen. It also tells us why these things will happen.

In Genesis 3:1–7 we learn that Adam and Eve disobeyed an express command of God, choosing instead to believe Satan’s lies. Adam and Eve had been given dominion over the world, but when they yielded to Satan, their dominion passed to him. The Bible calls him the “god” or “prince” of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4).

The problem with sin is that it separates human beings, and indeed all of creation, from God. In Romans 6:23 we learn that the result of sin is death, not just of human beings and animals but also of the earth itself. Romans 8:21 tells us that “the whole creation [world] has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.” We know that this suffering is the result of sin and separation from God. And it’s from this suffering and death that God rescued us by paying the death penalty for us through His Son. This extraordinary act is an expression of the character of God—that even though we have rejected Him and completely ruined the spectacular earth He created, He’s still doing everything possible to restore us to everlasting life with Him.

The Bible doesn’t use the term climate change, but it does describe in some detail what happens when creation is separated from its Creator. This separation cannot endure much longer, for even now all creation groans under the burden of sin. On the horizon we see the fulfillment of some of the most critically important prophecies in the Bible. In His mercy, God provides a multitude of signs that the earth is reaching a termination point. You may agree or disagree with the idea that humans are accelerating climate change. The subject is a charged political issue with vocal adherents and detractors. But whatever your persuasaion, it’s safe to say that the Bible describes an escalation of wars, famines, pestilences, and earthquakes as Christ’s second coming draws near. It’s a dire prediction, and without Jesus, it’s a future that would be cause for alarm.

Be that as it may, the importance of climate change pales to insignificance in comparison to the importance of Christ’s coming and the creation of a joyful and sustainable society that’s in perfect harmony with its Creator. The next time you read yet another study saying that climate change is accelerating beyond all expectation and that the impacts are coming faster than expected, remember that the Bible predicted these things two thousand years ago. And remember that, terrible as the results of climate change are on our world, they are also indicators that the coming of Jesus is very near.

Does the Bible talk about climate change and flooding?

September 29, 2017

The Bible does indeed talk about climate change.

Since Adam’s sin, the earth has been cursed. Genesis 3:17 (NASB), “…Cursed is the ground because of you…”  The climate has gotten worse.  However in Isaiah 35:1,2,6,7, we find a promise of good climate change. When Christ reigns, the wilderness and desert will be changed into flowering fields.  Acts 3:19-21(NASB) foretells the “Times of Restoration” when all that was lost due to father Adam’s sin will be restored to mankind. This includes the recovery of earth from the curse. Revelation 22:3, “There shall be no more curse.”

Spiritual blindness, greed, and “willing ignorance” (Isaiah 56:9-12; 2 Peter 3:5) are at the root of confusing the clear and irrefutable science on climate. There is no scientific debate that the green house gases of today’s air differ more than two-fold from the air breathed by George Washington.  There is no debate that once stable ice fields around the earth are vanishing – breaking apart in thunderous roars before our very eyes. Since 1957, a greenhouse gas observatory in Hawaii has measured the increasing concentrations year by year. Man and not nature has brought this change. Unintended consequences are the result.

The scientific community has warned that greenhouse gas increases would intensify storms, cause floods, droughts, forest fires, and expand invasive species such as insects and tropical diseases and lead to extinctions. Christ Jesus warned “Unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved…”(Matthew 24:22).

We are supposed to watch over this beautiful gift of the earth as God’s stewards.  We have not done this wisely.

Storms, floods, etc. appear as biblical end time symbols — for the root of the problem is man’s alienation from God.  To those mindful of God’s word, these stark images may have both a spiritual, and in some cases, a literal fulfillment:
Nahum 1:3-5 “the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm…”
Luke 21:25, 26, “Upon the earth distress of nations with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.”

Christ will topple earth’s sinful governments and organizations, but then mankind will be taught the joy of righteousness and earth will be healed:

Isaiah 19:4-22 “… the river shall be wasted and dried up… the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the LORD…”
Isaiah 55:12,13(NLT), “You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands! Where once there were thorns, cypress trees will grow. Where nettles grew, myrtles will sprout up. These events will bring great honor to the LORD’s name; they will be an everlasting sign of his power and love.”
Man’s extremity will be God’s opportunity!

 Luke 21:5-38

The Destruction of the Temple and Signs of the End Times

Some of his disciples were remarking about how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and with gifts dedicated to God. But Jesus said, “As for what you see here, the time will come when not one stone will be left on another; every one of them will be thrown down.”

“Teacher,” they asked, “when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are about to take place?”

He replied: “Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not follow them. When you hear of wars and uprisings, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away.”

10 Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. 11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.

12 “But before all this, they will seize you and persecute you. They will hand you over to synagogues and put you in prison, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name. 13 And so you will bear testimony to me.

14 But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves. 15 For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict. 16 You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers and sisters, relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death. 17 Everyone will hate you because of me. 18 But not a hair of your head will perish. 19 Stand firm, and you will win life.

20 “When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city. 22 For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written. 23 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. 24 They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. 26 People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. 27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”
29 He told them this parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees. 30 When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. 31 Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.

32 “Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

34 “Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap. 35 For it will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth. 36 Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”

37 Each day Jesus was teaching at the temple, and each evening he went out to spend the night on the hill called the Mount of Olives, 38 and all the people came early in the morning to hear him at the temple.

Moving On

From Me To You: May the peace of God (The Holy Trinity) be upon each of you. I pray that God Blessings be upon you and your families. I pray that you will seek God's Righteousness in lieu of your own righteousness in accordance to Matthew 6:31-33. Remember, Jesus' greatest commandment is LOVE!
