The Importance of Knowing God Intimately...

This blog message was inspired by someone seeking physical healing coupled with the Holy Spirit summoning me for several acts of travailing prayers on behalf of this person - the most recent travailing’s on November 26 & 27, 2019 resulted in the following:

Dear God (The Holy Trinity) too often we come before you seeking matters such as: healing, financial assistance, help in broken relationships, etcetera, most of which amounts to the desire of our flesh, selfish acts.

In a recent travailing the Holy Spirit shared with me the fact that so many of us neglect to simply seek how can we bless You Heavenly Father or to ask what I can do for You today God.

Many are so caught up and conditioned to pray always for his or her own selfish desires and needs thus giving no thought to the fact that You need and desire a relationship and companionship with each of us.  This is evident by the fact that throughout the bible “Your Word”, you have used many of humans to do Your will.

I understand that obedience and availing ourselves as a living sacrifice are two key factors in having an intimate relationship with You, Heavenly Father.

I understand that prayer and fasting are definite key factors towards having an intimate relationship with You, as well.

Personally, before I became enlightened by the Holy Spirit through the renewal of my mind and transformation and no longer being conformed to the things of this world and reading the bible, Your Word, I was guilty of this same thing; seeking You out when I needed You, when I was troubled or going through trials and tribulation.

I was a selfish prayer, occasionally praying for others; however, today I pray on a global scale for everyone: the poor, the homeless, the orphans, the widows, our country, our government, our justice system, our health care system, our banking system, our church leaders, nations against nations, immigrants, our prison systems, world leaders and etcetera.

I understand now that we empower You to move on this earth via the Holy Spirit.

I pray also for the Second Advent: the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Yeshua, the Messiah back to this earth to be our King of Kings and our Lord of Lords, the Alpha and the Omega! Glory Hallelujah!

Without You God we can do nothing on our own. And, if we continue to pray selfishly, I understand now that we are the reason the Second Advent: the return of the Messiah, Jesus Christ is being delayed.

Many of our church leaders, are caught up in this manner of thinking too, failing to teach and preach on the importance of seeking an intimate relationship with You Heavenly Father. Many will readily preach on the significance of tithing, seeking donations and preaching on how this will prosper one. I have since gained knowledge, wisdom and understanding that to tithe and make offerings should come from our hearts, willingly, for the greater good of Your Kingdom and should not be exercised as a means to selfishly gain prosperity in this temporal world, after all, You already know what we need before we even ask. We must trust in You with all of our heart and lean not on our own understanding.

For the record, I am a faithful tither and make offerings according to how the Holy Spirit leads me. No longer do I fall prey to man’s pressure of tithing and offerings for the sake of prosperity to please my flesh desires and in some instances, man’s greed. I tithe and make offerings willingly for the greater good of serving the Kingdom of God.

Matthew 6:31-33 New King James Version (NKJV)

31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

The greatest prosperity one could have is an intimate relationship with you, becoming a living sacrifice, fulfilling ones true purpose here on the earth as an obedient servant to You God and not to man. Man cannot and will not bring us into eternity, a relationship with man: human or woman is temporal but a relationship with You, God, is eternal.

After all, You created us for means of companionship so how selfish of us to always think of ourselves. Companionship is a two-way relationship and until we can come to terms with that we lack the development of intimacy with You, God, without intimacy how can one truly get to know and understand the other.

I am so moved by this wisdom, knowledge and understanding and I seek forgiveness Heavenly Father on behalf of myself as well as for all those whom I intercede in prayer for because many know not what they do, I pray this in the name of Yeshua, Jesus Christ the Messiah. Amen!

You created us in Your Image, spirit beings clothed in flesh and the truest means of worshiping You is Spirit to Spirit.

 Genesis 1:26-27 (NKJV)

26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over [a]all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

John 4:24 New King James Version (NKJV)

24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

                               Faith Without Works is Dead

Thank You Holy Spirit for teaching me on this subject matter: Faith without works is dead. Too often one seeks healing; however, there are conditions (works) that must be met.

For instance, obesity may be a reason for illnesses, your works will entail losing weight, eating healthier, exercising discipline and self-control over your eating habits, breaking the curse of gluttony.

For instance, you may be going through a troubled marriage and or relationship, your works may entail looking at your actions, your words, your relationship with God.

The First Soul That God used me to heal, Governed by The Holy Spirit

For instance, I was instrumental in praying for healing for someone with cancer, a very young 30 something someone. At her family request I went, and I laid hands and prayed, however, the Holy Spirit forewarned me that there would be spiritual warfare during this prayer session but that I need not partake in the warfare because the Holy Angels would be there co-laboring with me.

As a living vessel, God spoke through me to her and afterward the Holy Spirit took me into a travailing and Jesus Christ was weeping through me, moaning and groaning for the welfare of her two young boys. I returned home to my prayer room and continued the travailing.

Months later she went into the care of hospice, and I went to her home into her bedroom where she lay in bed and as I entered her bedroom the Holy Spirit started to move within me.  I sensed the presence of several evil spirits lurking, waiting for her to die.  And then I started to look around her bedroom and it was dressed with pictures and posters and figurines that glorified none other than Satan. Her bedroom was a Satan den, safe haven for the devil.

The Holy Spirit led me out of there into a travailing where ultimately again I had my husband take me home so that I could complete the travailing in my prayer room. This would be the first soul that the Holy Spirit used and summoned me to heal.

Later that evening, I called her mother, a God-fearing woman and prayerful, to explain what had happened to tell her that God does not show up where He is not welcomed and worshiped. However, Jesus Christ, our High Priest and God the Father and the Holy Spirit collectively used me to save her daughter’s soul. The travailing’s I endured were intense coupled with spiritual warfare. She died January 2017.

The moral of this story is her mother was adamant about not wanting negative people and people who lacked faith around her daughter. She was believing with unwavering faith that God would heal her daughter. However, the works was dead in the sense that no action was taken to remove the satanic pictures and figurines that her bedroom and walls were smothered in. There is more to this event, but I’ll leave it here.

James 2:14-26 New King James Version (NKJV)

Faith Without Works Is Dead

14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

Mark 8:34-38 New King James Version (NKJV)
Take Up the Cross and Follow Him

34 When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 35 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it. 36 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? 37 Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? 38 For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.”

It is important that we have a clear understanding of the three baptisms as they are important foundations for our understanding of what has happened to us, and what is available for us, in Christ. When we first believe in Christ we are born again and made a new creature in Christ. This is a spiritual work with regards to our spirit as our new holy and righteous spirit is baptized, or placed, within the spiritual body of Christ. Once the church leaders are confident a person has received Christ the new believer should be baptized in water to signify their new identity in Christ and their association with Christ's death, burial and resurrection. Once a person is born again and water baptized the leaders of the church should lay hands on them and pray for Jesus to baptize them with the Holy Spirit. This is so the Christian can receive supernatural power to be a more effective witness for the Lord, and so they can flow in the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit.

My prayer, Heavenly Father, I pray that all who visit this website is blessed with a desire to seek wisdom, knowledge and understanding of Your Word and an intimate relationship with You. I pray that you anoint them with the Holy Spirit. I pray that they will seek the gifts of the Holy Spirit and exercise these gifts of supernatural power to do Your Will, respectfully and not for selfish gain. I pray that they will seek to be a blessing to You Heavenly Father, asking what they can do for You God. I pray that they will seek just to be in Your presence, spending intimate time with You God; in the name of Yeshua, Jesus Christ, the Messiah.
