Dear God, I am petitioning the courts of heaven on behalf of Holocaust Survivors…

My greatest concern on this subject matter is knowing that Holocaust Survivors are being prayed for; and not, preyed upon.

Thank You that I can petition the courts of heaven for justice and Your righteousness according to Your will. I come before You on the premise that every time I see or hear someone or some organization seeking funds to feed “poor holocaust survivors” I find the matter disheartening and I cringe.

God, You know my heart and that I acknowledge and know that the Jews are Your chosen people, and that because of the Jews, we, gentiles were grafted in, so as a gentile, a believer in Christ Jesus, I feel it is my duty to seek Your righteousness on this matter, imploring Your help.

Dear God, I present this matter of concern to the courts of heaven with a humble and respectful, God Fearing heart.

Your Word says (paraphrasing) be not conformed to the things of this world but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. As believers in Jesus Christ as the Messiah, the Holy Spirit is there to lead us, comfort us to the fullness of this transformation.

So, my prayer is that Holocaust Survivors are prayed for and not preyed upon. That they are overcomers!!! Warriors!!! Defeating the enemy!!! Hallelujah!!!

 Years of The Holocaust

The Holocaust, also known as the Shoah, was the World War II genocide of the European Jews. Between 1941 and 1945, across German-occupied Europe, Nazi Germany and its collaborators systematically murdered some six million Jews, around two-thirds of Europe's Jewish population. The murders were carried out in pogroms and mass shootings; by a policy of extermination through work in concentration camps; and in gas chambers and gas vans in German extermination camps, chiefly Auschwitz, Belzec, Chelmno, Majdanek, Sobibór, and Treblinka in occupied Poland.

 Food For Thought

To date; a Holocaust survivor born in the era of the 1940’s would be graduating on the ripe age of their mid 70’s. I would hope that they are overcomers of these heinous acts of discords. I find that in order to heal from heinous acts is to seek You and Your righteousness and not their own righteousness. You are a just God and a righteous God. Jesus assigned us with the task of going out and preaching the gospel to all nations, baptizing them in the name of: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.

Considering the age factor of a Holocaust Survivor today, how sad it would be to have lived one’s life as a “poor Holocaust Survivor” in lieu of a “Holocaust Overcomer”.

Mincing words here; survivor vs. overcomer

survivor [s?r'viv?r] NOUN

  1. a person who survives, especially a person remaining alive after an event in which others have died.
  2.
"the sole survivor of the massacre"
  • the remainder of a group of people or things.

  • a person who copes well with difficulties in their life.

What's the true meaning of Overcomer?

Overcomer definition, to get the better of in a struggle or conflict; conquer; defeat: to overcome the enemy.

I am claiming the unclaimable, exercising sublime audacity, holding accountable anyone who may be “preying” on the Holocaust Survivors for their own selfish means of financial prospering. To You, Heavenly Father, be the glory!

Thank You, Heavenly Father, that I can come to You about everything. Throughout my walk with You, I have learned that whenever a matter consistently presses upon my heart to take this as the Holy Spirit directing me to act and move forward in praying on the matter thus addressing the matter in writing as well. I pray too, for the peace of Jerusalem, In the name of Jesus Christ, the Messiah.

Romans 11:11-36 (NIV)

Ingrafted Branches

11 Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious. 12 But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their full inclusion bring!

13 I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I take pride in my ministry 14 in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them. 15 For if their rejection brought reconciliation to the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? 16 If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches.

17 If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, 18 do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. 19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” 20 Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.

22 Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. 23 And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. 24 After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!

All Israel Will Be Saved

25 I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, 26 and in this way[a] all Israel will be saved. As it is written:

“The deliverer will come from Zion;
he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.
27 And this is[b] my covenant with them
when I take away their sins.”[c]

28 As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, 29 for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable. 30 Just as you who were at one time disobedient to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience, 31 so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now[d] receive mercy as a result of God’s mercy to you. 32 For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.

Doxology

33 Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and[e] knowledge of God!
    How unsearchable his judgments,
and his paths beyond tracing out!
34 “Who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been his counselor?”[f]
35 “Who has ever given to God,
    that God should repay them?”[g]
36 For from him and through him and for him are all things.
To him be the glory forever! Amen.
